School Uniform/Clothing
Parents are asked to co-operate in ensuring that children arrive wearing appropriate school clothing, and all garments should be clearly marked with your child’s name. This applies to all clothes, whether they be for indoor or outdoor wear, games or P.E.
The school uniform consists of
Boys - Grey or black trousers or shorts (no sports trousers), White/grey shirt, red jumper or sweatshirt.
Sensible black/grey/brown school shoes/sandals
Girls - Grey skirts/pinafores or grey or black trousers, white shirts or blouses, red cardigans, jumpers or sweatshirts. Optional red check dress or grey/black culottes for summer.

Clothing for Physical Education and Games
All children have sessions of P.E. which include games, gymnastics, dance, athletics and outdoor education. If there is any reason why your child cannot take part in these activities, please let us know. In the interests of hygiene and safety, it is essential that outer garments are removed and, for P.E. lessons in the hall, children will take part in bare feet. All children will require P.E. clothing as outlined below:-
- Plimsolls/trainers
- Red T-shirt
- Black P.E. or cycling shorts
Games lessons will generally be taken outdoors as encouraged by County P.E. advisors.
In cold weather, children will also need:-
a track suit (black if possible)
or a jumper and jogging bottoms
All P.E. equipment should be kept in an appropriate shoe bag, which should be strong, clearly marked, with a drawstring to hang on a peg.
